THE BEAUTY OF THE COUNTRY
Hey there, Russia,mother country, Smelling of sweet honey and apples
Cottages in icon guise... Churches celebrate the Lord
Never-ending land of wonder, And the sounds of festive dancing
Vistas blue that suck the eyes. Fill the fields and meadows broad.
Like a passing holy pilgrim Off into the open country
On your fields I turn my gaze, Down a beaten path I run
On the outskirts of poor villages And to meet me, light as catkins,
Rustling poplars pine and fade. Peals of girlish laughter come.
If the heavenly host should beg me
"Come to live in heaven above!"
I shall say: "Don't give me heaven
But the Russia that I love."

Hello everybody! I'm Olga, a teacher of English from Russia. As a real Russian I'm very proud of my country.
Russia is a magnificent country, occupying the huge space of the world. It's one of the largest countries of the world. It, like many powerful people in the world, causes both admiration and envy and insult and many other feelings. Despite of everything, if you want to understand Russia, it is necessary to live in it, enjoying its boundless wideness, wide soul and hospitality! Nowadays the country starts to return their lost traditions and customs, to be restored after many years of cultural hunger. Now more and more people understand, only collaboration, without looking back to the past and without analyzing insulting errors of ancestors, it is possible to build a new world. New generation can change that their senior instructors have conceived now, the teacher, parents. It is necessary to join hands, feel simply heat of soul and to smile to the person opposite!
